Once connected to your home's WiFi network, it sends real-time status updates to the free Mobile Link app on your smartphone. You can see at a glance whether your generator is in standby mode (ready to go), actively running during an outage, or showing any fault codes that require attention.
The system sends push notifications when the generator starts (so you know immediately when an outage has occurred), when it returns to standby (so you know power has been restored), and when any maintenance or service alerts are triggered. For second-home owners in Lake Arrowhead or Cedar Glen, this means you always know the status of your property's power — even when you're sitting on a beach in Hawaii.
Quiet-Test™ Weekly Self-Testing
Every Generac Guardian generator performs a weekly self-test to ensure it's ready to operate when needed. Mobile Link records the results of every self-test, giving you a complete history of your generator's performance. Generac's Quiet-Test™ feature runs this self-test at low speed to minimize noise — an important consideration in residential mountain communities where neighbors are close and noise ordinances apply.
Dealer Monitoring for Peace of Mind
As an authorized Generac dealer, Mountain Top Generator can also monitor your generator's status through the dealer portal.
